Dr. Lajpat Rai Mehra is the pioneer of the Indian form of treatment Neurotherapy. Famous for developing this non-invasive and medicine less treatment and also for treating a large population with this special method of treatment.

Neurotherapy happened to him coincidentally. At a gentle age of 11, he was affected with severe stomach pain, the cause of which was not known even after spending days at a hospital. Soon, he was taken to an old man in a hope to get relief from the pain. The man asked him to lie his face down and cured him almost instantly, by a simple traditional technique of ‘setting the navel’ by moving his hands and legs in a special way.

Amazed by how the man treated him within few seconds, Lajpat Rai Mehra  developed a keen interest in the form of treatment. When his mother fell sick, he tried to recall how the treatment was done by the man and how he pressed certain points to cure the pain. With the same technique, he himself performed the treatment and cured his mother. Once he knew that this form of treatment was very effective, he mastered the technique and soon started performing treatment on fellow villagers. Shortly, people from nearby villagers started visiting his home to get treatment.

After gaining immense knowledge and having a vast experience, he qualified for a degree in Naturopathy.  The knowledge gained from Old Indian scriptures, modern physiology and treatment of thousands of patients, all combined formed the novel technique popularly known as LMNT or Lajpatrai Mehra’s Neurotherapy.

His dedication in working towards the wellness of people and spreading this technique made him to train more than thousands of students, and also conduct more than hundreds of free Neurotherapy camps all over the country.

There are presently, more than 650 LMNT centers all over India, plus one each in Canada, U.K., Italy and Australia.
